Following the trip of last year, Kazal returned to the island of Sri Lanka in November 2017 to discuss further cooperation opportunities with the Ministry of Sports. Just like in 2016 Kazal had the honour to meet Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara, Honourable Minister of Sports.

Kazal travelled to the island in November 2016 for the first time. During the previous journey Kazal agreed with Honourable Minister to participate in the talent identification program of the Ministry which was launched this year in January. Later on Kazal submitted a detailed proposal and budget for the esteemed Ministry indicating the Project history, the detailed product description and the recommendations for the implementation.

In November 2017 Kazal returned to Sri Lanka to do a follow-up on the project and to discuss further cooperation details. During the meetings with Mr. Jayasekara Kazal and Honourable Minister agreed that the project accomplishment will be forwarded to FFSL (Football Federation of Sri Lanka). FFSL will decide if the project shall include other sports or only football and also they have the authority to decide how the Kazal Project might be integrated into FFSL Grassroots Program. In this respect, based on the meetings will FFSL President Anura da Silva and General Secretary Jaswar Umar, the Kazal Project in Sri Lanka might be extended to kids older than 7 years of age and FFSL is considering to purchase the larger size funpitch instead of the kinderpitch.

During the journey, Kazal also visited the National Training Center of Sri Lanka, the Kelaniya Sports Complex of youth football and several rugby and cricket pitches to have a better overview on the sporting infrastructure of the country. As a summary of these visits, we may declare that the Kazal Project will positively influence the island's sporting life once the first pitches are inaugurated.

At the end of the journey, Kazal had the honour to participate at the Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Conclave hosted by the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo. The event was organized by Kazal's partner company Chelina CC and Opportunity Sri Lanka. The 2-days event focused on the currently existing investments and other business opportunities Sri Lanka may offer to foreign investors. The event was a great occasion to meet up Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, President and Founder of the Small & Medium Business Development Chamber of India.
